Dr. James Frizzell and our entire team of professionals are committed to offering every patient personalized compassionate care in conjunction. A treatment plan that is based on their clinical needs, as well as their own dental “vision.”

We embrace diversity in our patients, as an essential part of what we do. Our approach to total care may include coordinating your treatment with other specialists if needed, as well as follow-up and preventative periodontal maintenance care after your overall phases of any required treatment is completed.

Dr. James Frizzell

Dr. James Frizzell has been providing quality family dental care to patients in the Niagara region for 20 years. Our experienced dentist is dedicated to restoring and enhancing the natural beauty of your smile, using the latest procedures of modern dentistry, and seeking your input and your goals, within your budget. 

Dr. James is a graduate of the University of Toronto with a BSc (Chemistry) and a DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery). He served 8 years in the Canadian Forces Dental Corps, at Cold Lake Air Force Base in Alberta. 

Dr  James graduated from a one year course,  McGill University, Dental Forensics Program; part on-campus  training with the Surete du Quebec Forensics Team. Dr James is focusing on Child Abuse, Elderly Abuse, Human Trafficking, and Intimate Partner Violence. He also gives educational PowerPoint presentations on these topics.  Also, trained at University of Tennessee, Body Farm, and Clandestine Grave Recovery. Dr Frizzell’s motto is: “The Power of Observation”, which he lives by, both in the forensic’s world, and in the field of general dentistry, with attention to detail.

Dr. James is an active member of the Canadian Dental Association and Ontario Dental Association. He is also an active member of the ASFO (American Society of Forensic Odontology).

He enjoys vacationing with family and friends, and fishing locally in the upper and lower Niagara River for bass and musky.

OFFICE MASCOT Snoopy!

Snoopy is a rescue dog from www.niagaradogrescue.com.

Snoopy was rescued from West Virginia. He was previously a hunting dog, who was abandoned by his owner, to run loose in the forest, and was shot at by his previous owner.
Snoopy now is living comfortably as a part of Dr James’ family in Chippawa. And he is proudly our office mascot!

The experienced team at Frizzell Dental annually attends the spring dental convention in Toronto and other seminars to learn new and advanced technology. Samantha is a recent graduate from Niagara College and has been practicing Dental Hygiene since 2017 and has been employed at Frizzell Dental for 2 years. She loves connecting with the patients and making them feel comfortable in the dental chair. Sam’s passion is making a difference in her patient’s lives by helping them achieve better overall/oral health.

Jessica

Jessica has been employed at Frizzell Dental for 8 years. Jessica graduated from the Niagara College’s Dental Assisting & Dental Hygiene programs. She enjoys sharing her knowledge on oral health and creating a comfortable environment for dental hygiene treatment. Jessica stays current by attending many dental seminars and continuing education programs.

Brianne

Brianne graduated the Niagara College Office Administration program in 2016, and has been employed at Frizzell Dental for 2 years as our sterilization technician. Her job is to provide proper sterilization in accordance with public health and infection control standards. Brianne enjoys attending dental seminars; continuing education, and keeping up to date with new infection control protocols. Brianne has attended many sterilizing courses including the “Infection Prevention and Control” seminar at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry moderated by multiple dental professors.

Urvi

Urvi is new to our dental office team. Her educational background is a Bachelors Degree in Commerce. Always smiling and joyful, she works as a part of the receptionist team, and often focuses on greeting patients and performing COVID screening.

Christina

Christina is a dental assistant who graduated from Niagara college. She is a certified level I & II dental assistant. Christine took some time out of the dental field for a few years to expand her knowledge and skills in other areas, she is now happily back in the dental field and has grown immensely over the years. She loves interacting with patients and making them feel comfortable when they come in for their dental treatments.

Carly

Carly is the newest addition to our dental hygiene team. She graduated the dental hygiene program at Niagara College in 2019. She has a passion for oral and overall health and this definitely shows during her appointments with her patients. She loves making her patients of all ages confident and help them achieve their best smile. When she is not working at the office she enjoys singing and writing music as well as spending time with friends/family. 

Alysha

She graduated Niagara College in 2013 Dental Assistant Program.

She is extremely skilled at public relations and has a contagious smile.

Family time during days off is her priority.
